Vision
Transformed lives, transformed communities!
Values
Faith, Family, Excellence, Integrity
Templo Calvario CDC was launched by Templo Calvario, a church with an 85 year history of service in Santa Ana. Although the CDC formally received non-profit status on July 9, 2003, its efforts to serve the community go back more than 25 years.
- The Obras de Amor Food Bank was the first tool used to reach out to those needing emergency
food assistance. Not only was food provided to individuals, but also valuable information on other
family services available in the community.
- Later came the opportunity to start a charter school and with it Templo Calvario CDC was
formally established. Originally, the charter school was located at church location but three years
later, as their numbers grew the school moved to Walnut and First Streets in downtown Santa Ana.
- Since then, Templo Calvario CDC has grown and has operated a multitude of programs that serve
families and empower individuals to help them reach their potential and achieve self sufficiency,
whether they are children, teens, young adults, parents and grandparents.
